Commercialising Australian renewable energy and energy efficiency technology including small scale biomass fuelled engines and the resource saving HALO Static Sealing system

About Uniflow Power Ltd

Uniflow Power was created by successful investors and an experienced Board of Directors with a track record in identifying and commercialising new technology in Australia and internationally.

Uniflow Power Limited was incorporated in November 2009 for the purpose of acquiring Pritchard Power Systems Pty Ltd (PPS) the company that held the original global and exclusive licence for all of the Pritchard technology and inventions. The acquisition was completed in January 2010.

In July 2010 Uniflow Power entered into an agreement to take up a global and exclusive licence for the manufacture and distribution of the HALO Seal. The Directors saw the HALO Seal as being a technology ready for market.

Subsequently an opportunity arose for the HALOSEAL to be spun out into a 'back door listing' in an ASX listed company. This process resulted in all Uniflow shareholders at the time (December 2011) receiving shares in a new entity that took over the commercialisation of the HALOSEAL and which is in negotiations with an ASX listed company.

The Company is now preparing for an Initial Public Offering prior to a listing on the Australian Stock Exchange, planned for the second half of 2012.

Capital raised will be used to complete testing and of production prototypes, engage research partners and licence the technology to suitable international companies with the capacity to commercialise the Uniflow Generator in particular territories.

Uniflow will also aim to expand its investor base in territories where it expects strong interest in its products and the company's prospects for growth. In particular, the emerging markets of Southeast Asia are seen as presenting such an opportunity.

To cite an example, Uniflow believes the Philippines is one of the natural markets for the S5000, as it has the second highest electricity charges in Asia and includes large numbers of communities where the only power is provided by diesel fuelled generators. Delivering power to rural areas is particularly challenging and expensive in this country of 7,000 islands.
